Brazilian Meat Exports Reach Record High in 2024!

9,5 million tons. That’s the impressive figure marking Brazil’s beef, chicken and pork exports in 2024 — the highest volume ever recorded.

Of this total, beef accounted for 2.9 million tons, a remarkable 26% increase compared to 2023, while chicken exports hit a record 5.3 million tons, a 3% increase and pork 1.35 million tons, a 10% growth from 2023.

These numbers drove almost USD 26 billion into Brazil’s economy — USD 13 billion from beef exports, USD 10 billion from chicken and USD 3.3 billion from pork.

Why does this matter?
Agribusiness is the backbone of Brazil’s trade balance. In fact, Brazil closed 2024 with a trade surplus of USD 74.6 billion, and more than 30% of that came from the agricultural sector.

This achievement is only possible through the relentless commitment of an integrated supply chain — from farmers and producers to logistics and exporters — all working together to deliver high-quality meat to tables around the world. It’s a collective effort that not only strengthens Brazil’s economy but also plays a vital role in ensuring global food security. In feeding the world, every link in the chain matters!

At LPartners International, we are proud to play our part in connecting Brazilian meat to the world, building long-term partnerships in over 50 countries.
